“Before the photoshoot, I had been through a rough 12 months. I’d got divorced, was experiencing menopause, cervical cancer which required a laparoscopy and empty nest syndrome – basically feeling at an all time low. I had lost my self confidence, and somewhere along the way forgotten the amazing woman that I am.
As I pulled up at the Old Palace Hotel, I had mixed emotions. My heart was racing with feelings of both excitement and fear! I needn’t have worried though, as Jaine came out to meet me, and immediately put me at ease.
She talked through what the day would entail, and introduced me to the make up artist, who was lovely; within minutes I had a nice glass of bubbles in my hand, sitting with my hair in rollers, whilst my make up was applied.
The actual photo shoot was so enjoyable. I relaxed immediately and allowed Jaine to guide me, how to stand and what to do with my hands. All of the time she was encouraging and speaking kind words so that I didn’t feel exposed or awkward at any time.
I wanted to have high expectations of what I would see, but equally that lack of self confidence was still there in me.
The shot which Jaine had said would be amazing was the first picture she showed me, and it was phenomenal. I looked like a vogue model on the cover of the magazine. Every picture after this had the same impact!
I cannot put into words how amazing Jaine is. Her eye and skill for finding the exact shot for you, is extraordinary. While you are with her she will make you feel like a million dollars, and her pictures represent that!

“The whole experience was both amazing and very empowering.
I received plenty of information in advance, which helped with my pre photo-shoot nerves! Hair and make-up was a really lovely experience before we began the shoot.
Throughout the session Jaine was easy to talk to, guiding me with lots of positivity. The venue is beautiful and has many areas to use.
The viewing was on a large screen with tissues and a cup of tea at hand ( I was actually quite emotional) There was no pressure mo buy and plenty of options in terms of display & price”

I wanted to do a Boudoir shoot to celebrate how I felt in my fifties and so began the research!
After speaking to Jaine I definitely knew I’d found my photographer. I liked how the sessions were designed to be very personal and that it could be done out on location at a hotel.
Jaine’s experience and passion shone through, her desire for you to have a fabulous experience as well as a great set of photographs.
I was excited and nervous but Jaine put me at ease instantly. I was spoilt with champagne and chocolates during my amazing make-up session.
The photo shoot itself was amazing. Jaine made me feel confident, sexy and gorgeous; the poses felt very natural and the day just flowed, my glass was kept topped up and my inner goddess was emerging.
When I left the Abode Hotel in Chester I was euphoric; I felt so confident and beautiful!
Viewing the photographs was also a very emotional experience, Jaine had said she had got some lovely shots but what I saw just blew me away so much so I cried (happy tears).
The most difficult task was choosing the set of photographs I wanted to keep but she expertly guided me through the process.
Jaine is a very inspirational woman and an amazing photographer who has a lot of empathy with her clients.
The artistic flare and quality of my wall art and album is second to none, she has 100% captured the essence of me and how I am feeling at this stage of my life.
I will treasure the experience as much as I will my final photographs all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart, I have loved every minute
