If only we could make time stand still! Sadly we can’t, however I can skilfully create beautiful, timeless portraits of specific, memorable times in your lives; appreciating the beauty of a new born sleeping, those dimpled cheeks of your little cherubs, eyes sparkling as they forge their personalities in the world.
Props don’t make portraits, capturing their character does. Allowing me to spend an hour with your beautiful children is a privilege I look forward to; drawing out their natural expressions, their sensitivity, cheekiness or bold stance, for that is what you see in them and hold so dear but find so hard to immortalise.
My small but perfectly formed studio in Bangor on Dee is ideal for these classic portraits where designer clothes are not required; preferring a simpler approach that won’t go out of fashion on your walls. Gone are the white coves, leaping chance shots, replaced by considered composition, the harmonising of textures and hues combined with technical lighting reminiscent of Rembrandt, giving a more painterly “fine art” quality to your finished photographs which are lit and posed to enhance and flatter.
Please don’t think old-fashioned, instead think timeless, classical and beautiful; three words chosen to craft a photoshoot into a treasured timepiece which you will be so proud to hang upon your walls and share with future generations.
As with all my work, each image is meticulously prepared for the printing process, using only the highest quality archival papers, inks and mount boards complimented by a wide range of quality hand made frames to ensure the finished images are a piece of art.

I took my daughter for a photo shoot with Jaine a couple of months back and throughout the whole experience we were made to feel so welcome and valued.
The shoot itself could have been challenging with a headstrong 18 month old, but she was so professional whilst being friendly and informal that my daughter was in her comfort zone in no time.
The private viewing was at Jaine’s home office. I’m not someone who gets emotional easily, and when Jaine pointed out the tissues on the table I laughed, but as soon as the slideshow started I understood why I’d need them.
