Thornton Manor is a privilege to work at. The main house boasts amazing traditional wood panelling and elaborately painted ceilings by Cipriani, surrounded by many comfortable reception rooms to suit all your guests and accompanied by glorious grounds that offer variety in tone and texture plus shelter from the variable British weather. The Waterside and Lakeside marquees give a very different, ethereal feel with stunning backdrops of waterlilies, woodland and lakes which excite me, as a photographer, time and time again.

Wandering around the grounds before a wedding always raises my creativity and nestled within woodland are gorgeous statues, light and dark foliage and easily reached steps which compliment every bridal gown yet protect those gorgeous shoes!

We wanted our day to embrace winter romance, Christmas is my favourite time of year and we really wanted to include that within our day.
Our venue was magical, Thornton Manor is a 19th century Elizabethan home set within countryside with beautiful gardens captivating the enchanted fairytale wedding I always dreamed of.
The beauty of the outside in contrast to burning log fires set the romantic theme for the day.
I walked down the aisle, surrounded by family and friends and looked up and saw the most handsome man I have ever met.
Our day was filled with laughter, love and magic, the most amazing special day of my life and I got to marry the man of my dreams.
Our photography was great fun and the images truly capture the day – I cannot wait to collect our album!
